Students and staff at Soaring Heights School in State College, PA recently invited several local veterans to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal as part of their service project for the Travis Manion Foundation, as a thank you for their service in our country’s military and to help bond with our community. Students thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend time with and hear from the local veterans.
Students thanked the veterans for their service and worked hard to prepare a full Thanksgiving holiday meal that they all enjoyed together, while they discussed their service to our country and many other topics.
