Soaring Heights School students will be working with the Schlow Library staff to clean and repair library books as part of community service to the local region. Students will be going to the library on a regular basis and will be assigned to look for tears and pencil markings and identify books that need book jacket repairs.
Student will also clean away the “grunge” on pages that can occur due to prolonged use. Students will be going to the library on a weekly basis and working in sections assigned by Schlow staff.
Students begin their “doctoring” on Friday, September 30th.
